This refurbished recreational area sits within a circular plot. Our Mount benches and seatswere used to create concentric seating, ever-decreasing in radius towards the centre. One of the seats even changed radius half way along its length, facilitated by a unique shared timber arrangement. That’s a new one on us!

To add value and protection, the perimeter of the circle also called for a bespoke shelter. Our solution was a cantilevered steel and timber pergola. One of the curved benches will be placed underneath, providing the perfect place to sit and shelter from the elements.

We’re really pleased that the client chose such a bold, bright colour in RAL 5009 (Azure Blue). We were a little unsure at first after creating 3D rendered images, but after seeing them on site they looked perfect, and the blue sits really well against the natural orange tones of the sapele hardwood timbers.
