Down by Camden’s historic canals, this little circular park area needed a new place to rest. Our one of a kind curved bench nestles into the landscape providing decent seating capacity with EQA compliant armrests.

Due to the prestigious nature of the area, we wanted to instill the products with a sense of craft so we opted for some CNC-milled “jigsaw” dovetail joints to connect the seat and fascia slats.

With the base fully enclosed our workshop team followed a carefully choreographed assembly procedure to deliver the high-quality seamless finish our client was looking for. Although there are no visible fixings, the tops and fascia panels can be removed if repairs are required in future, without the need to break out the unit.

We also provided some customised Mount benches with large, laminated hardwood sleepers. The armrests were sized and shaped to loosely mimic the profile of the barges on the adjacent canal.
